17 Human Rights Organizations demanded the civil community to assume its humanitarian responsibilities and take immediate measures to stop targeting Shiites after the Bahraini government implemented its threats by the arbitrary exiling of the Bahraini religious cleric Ayatollah Sheikh Hussein Al-Najati the agent of the higher religious authority Ayatollah Mr. Ali Al-Sistani, which in accordance to the statement of the UN Special Rapporteur of Freedom and Religion Beliefs Honner Bielfield will lead the authority to exercise discrimination against the Shiite community in Bahrain because of their religious beliefs.

The statement continued: "We express our profound repudiation of the expulsion decision, which was carried out by the Bahraini government against Ayatollah Al-Najati, and we express our fear that the rest of the citizens whom their nationalities have been withdraw in violation of national and international law and upon a sectarian and political background may also be vulnerable to a forced deportation from Bahrain."

The statement added: "Bahrain has alternated by this measure to an incubator state of sectarian
persecution, especially with the involvement of the authority with a large number of violations, which affected religious of freedoms, including the demolition of a number of Shiites mosques and exonerating the Secular Muslim Council recently, these violations were condemned by the international human rights community, and until this moment the authorities did not take the initiative to apologize or hold the involved political and security leaders accountable."

The organizations added: "Exiling Al-Najati shows the alienating of the authority to a specific humanitarian group in Bahrain which is the Shiite community pointing out that it is a clear violation of the articles of the international conventions, including materials: 2, 18 and 19 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, as well as in contravention of the articles 9 and 15 of the Universal Declaration of Human rights, and article 30 of the Arab Charter on Human Rights."

The organizations concluded its statement by calling the Bahraini government to stop committing grave violations in the field of human rights for political and revenge purpose, in addition to demanding it to return the Sheikh to his country and start immediately with the implementation of Bassiouni's recommendations and Geneva's decisions."
