The forum of Bahrain human rights demand to implement all Bssiouni's recommendations in a professional and immediate form, Bahrain is not tolerating the accumulation of violations of human rights, pointing out that accepting to head Geneva recommendations made the benefits of Bassiouni an international restriction, signifying the necessity of establishing a UN commission that documents all violations that occurred before and after the issue of the Bassiouni's report
The Forum indicated that the statements made by Mr. Sherif Bassiouni the head of the Bahraini commission of inquiry has made it to the Kudos newspaper before days about the non-implementation of the authorities to the Bassiouni report recommendation, the conviction always confirms the escape of authority from implementing those international convections despite the passage of three years on the issue of the report
In its statement, the Forum reiterated its emphasis on deep resentment by the international civil society and the organizations of human rights, indicate by Bassiouni, as a result of the failure to implement the recommendations of the accountability involved in the deaths of citizens and non-continuation of the serious and the rigorous trials of 300 people who had been subjected to torture and repression
The Forum stressed that the increase of violations in Bahrain after the report issue reinforces the importance of inauguration a permanent office of the High Commissioner for human rights in Bahrain, in order to rectify the human rights conditions, noting that the implementation of the recommendations of Bassiouni and Geneva decisions would represent a real exit that leads toward democracy and transitional justice in Bahrain.
