The Bahrain Forum of Human Rights said that " the Bahraini authorities still use the procrastination in providing treatment to the leader Hassan Mushaimeh, the Secretary General of the Opposition Right Movement, also it used the same method in non-informing him about the specific examination reports of the lymphatic glands cancer in which he was diagnosed by in 2010 affirming that this procrastination raise doubts again about the health status of  Mushaimeh and fear of the disease returning or moving to other parts of his body, which puts his life to serious complications

The Forum added: "These actions constitute a clear violation by the Bahraini authority for the prisoners' rights in access to health care as stipulated by the local laws and the international conventions"

Again, the Forum called the New High Commissioner of the United Nations and the Organization of the International Red Cross to visit Mushaimeh in his prison to find out his real health condition, and oblige the Bahraini government of enabling the politician Mushaimeh of accessing his right of treatment, and informing him about the special examinations of his disease, as a humane and constitutional right
